Emily Chaplin, Artist

An oil painter working in expressive color and painting primarily with palette knife, Emily’s work is represented by Elliott Yeary Gallery of Aspen and Wilde Meyer Galleries of Scottsdale and Tucson, Arizona.

Emily’s vibrant aspen treescapes, florals and landscapes have caught the eye of collectors around the country. Describing her distinctive approach to capturing aspen trees: “I intentionally make each tree unique, reflecting our human individuality. But just as a grove of aspens is connected out of sight underground, we as humans rely on one another - our friends, family, community - to live and to flourish.”

When not in her Aspen studio painting, you’re likely to find Emily outside hiking, biking or skiing, or planning her next travel adventure.
